 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Before assembly it is washed out all details in kerosene or diesel fuel and we examine them.
On details any cracks are inadmissible. On teeths of gear wheels should not be задиров, vykrashivaniye and strong wear. Bearings should rotate easily without clicks and jammings. On rollers and rings the vykrashivaniye, chips and strong wear are inadmissible. Separators of bearings should not have gaps and deformations. The damaged and worn-out details it is replaced. After run more than 100 thousand km we recommend to replace bearings irrespective of their condition.
We collect the main transfer to sequences, return dismantling, having greased bearings and gear wheels with transmission oil.
Having established in a reducer case a leading gear wheel, …

… a dinamometrichesky key we tighten a flange nut the moment 16–20 кгс.м, thus the gear wheel needs to be turned for the correct installation of rollers in bearings.

We establish on a support the indicator with the price of division no more than 0,01 mm, resting his leg against a flange end face …

… and moving for a flange a shaft, we measure axial люфт a leading gear wheel.

For elimination люфта we take out the rasporny ring established on a shaft of a gear wheel (see. Dismantling of the back bridge) and a micrometer it is measured its thickness.
We select a new rasporny ring. It should be thinner removed on size люфта and is in addition thinner on 0,05 mm, if bearings of a leading gear wheel new, or on 0,01 mm if bearings are left the former. We establish a rasporny ring.
In the absence of axial люфта a leading gear wheel a special dinamometrichesky natural at the price of division of a scale 0,5 кгс.м we check the moment of resistance to shaft rotation. At the correct adjustment the moment of resistance should be 15–20 кгс.см for new bearings or 7–10 кгс.см if bearings are left the former.
With sufficient accuracy it is possible to measure the moment of resistance by a household steelyard, …

… having hooked on its hook for an opening of a flange and having pulled up.

Thus demanded values will be 3,8–5 kgfs and 1,8–2,5 kgfs respectively. If the resistance moment more, we change a rasporny ring for another, is thicker on 0,01–0,02 mm if it is less – respectively we select a ring of smaller thickness.
Bolts of fastening of parts of a box of satellites, bolts of fastening of a conducted gear wheel, and also their carving openings before assembly it is fat-free by solvent or acetone and we put on a carving anaerobny hermetic.
Special attention we turn on purity of face landing surfaces of a conducted gear wheel and a box of satellites. The slightest pollution or забоины on them are inadmissible.
Available damages it is deleted with the abrasive tool, with the subsequent careful washing of details in kerosene or diesel fuel.

At installation of a conducted gear wheel on a box of satellites we align it by means of long bolts М10х1 (it is possible to use bolts from old rods).

We grease with transmission oil bearings of a box of satellites and we establish a box of satellites in case boring. Having established covers and nuts of bearings (without tightening bolts), we check ease of rotation of adjusting nuts.
We draw in differential bearings adjusting nuts with a small tightness, thus we turn a gear wheel that in one, in other party that rollers of bearings occupied the correct situation.

For measurement of a lateral gap in gearing of gear wheels of the main transfer we fix on a case of the back bridge the indicator, having brought it щуп to tooth top from the outer side of a conducted gear wheel.

The gap should be 0,15–0,20 mm. Measurements should be repeated not less than on six teeths in opposite zones of a wreath.
For gap reduction by a screw-driver or a thin steel core it is weakened an adjusting nut from outside, to an opposite conducted gear wheel, and other nut we tighten.
To turn on one nut and to tighten another it is necessary on an identical corner, being guided on grooves of adjusting nuts. Thus each otvorachivaniye of an adjusting nut is necessary for finishing its small wraparound. For example, to release a nut on five grooves, we turn on it on six, and then on one groove it is wrapped.
It will provide continuous contact of an external ring of the bearing to a nut and guarantees its fixing in operating time.
For increase in a gap we repeat adjusting operations in return sequence.
After adjustment of a lateral gap in gearing we check axial люфт in differential bearings, for what:

we fix on a support the indicator, resting it щуп against an end face of a conducted gear wheel. Shaking a gear wheel in the axial direction, we measure люфт in differential bearings.

The adjusting nut located from the opposite side from a conducted gear wheel, we expose axial люфт 0,035–0,055 mm.
Further, drawing in a nut, we establish a pretightness of bearings: 0,1 mm – at run of bearings less than 10 thousand km; 0,05 mm — at run more than 10 thousand km. Nut turn on one groove corresponds to bearing "compression" on 0,03 mm. Having adjusted, we tighten bolts of covers of bearings and we establish lock plates (see. Dismantling of the back bridge) and once again we check a lateral gap.

Before a final tightening of bolts of fastening of covers serially we turn out bolts and we put anaerobny hermetic on their carving part.

It is possible to determine correctness of the carried-out adjustment by a contact spot on teeths of a conducted gear wheel.
Besides, being guided on a contact spot, it is possible to adjust gearing of gear wheels in the absence of the indicator.

We put on teeths of a conducted gear wheel paint, it is better bright.

We turn several times in both parties a flange of a leading gear wheel, at the same time braking a conducted gear wheel to a paint istiraniye in places of contact of teeths.
We examine contact spots on teeths of a conducted gear wheel from the convex and concave party (see drawing).
If the spot of contact is located at tooth top, it is necessary to increase thickness of an adjusting ring at a leading gear wheel and if at the basis – to reduce.
If the spot of contact is displaced to the gear wheel center, it is necessary to increase a gap between conducted and conducting gear wheels and if outside – to reduce (see above).
After adjustment we establish a reducer to the back bridge, thus on bolts of fastening and a flange it is applied a thin film oilproof hermetic.
Having collected the back bridge and the gulf in it oil (see. Oil replacement in a reducer), we carry out reducer test under way. For this purpose we make a trip with speed of 60-70 km/h within 20–30 minutes. Heating of a mouth of a case should not be higher 95 ° (drops of water should not boil).
Otherwise it is necessary to reduce a pretightness of bearings of a leading gear wheel.

The adaptation for filling by oil

In garage it is quite good to have the simple adaptation for filling by oil of units of transmission. In a cover plastic banks from under oil we drill two openings: in one it is necessary to fix the gate from the old chamber, in another — to pass a hose with internal diameter about 10 mm. The pump we create pressure in bank and oil on a tube will go to the transmission unit.
