Dismantling of the back bridge

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

It is more convenient to work at a viewing ditch together.

We clear a case of the main transfer of dirt.
We merge oil (see. Oil replacement in a reducer).
We disconnect from the back bridge kardanny transfer (see. Removal of kardanny transfer).
We take out semi-axes from both parties of the car (see. Semi-axis removal).

Key or head «on 14» we turn on ten bolts of fastening of a reducer to a beam of the back bridge.

We take out a reducer from a beam, trying not to damage laying.

For convenience of work …

… we establish a reducer on the assembly stand.

With center punch it is marked the mutual provision of covers of bearings of differential and their nuts, and also covers concerning a case.

We remove a flange of a leading gear wheel with a cuff (see. Replacement of a cuff of a leading gear wheel).

Key «on 12» we turn on two bolts of fastening of lock plates.

We remove lock plates.

Head «on 17» we turn on two bolts of fastening of a cover of the bearing.

We uncover.

Similarly we remove the second cover.

By special key or big screw-driver it is turned on adjusting nuts of bearings …

… also we remove them.

We remove a box of satellites with a conducted gear wheel.

If bearings are not replaced, we mark an arrangement of their external rings that at assembly to establish on former places.

The conducted gear wheel is established on a box of satellites only in one situation therefore, to simplify assembly, we mark the mutual provision of a gear wheel and the case.

Head «on 17» we turn on ten bolts of fastening of a gear wheel.

In easy blows of a hammer through a drift from soft metal we force down a gear wheel from a box of satellites …

… also we remove it.

For bearing removal on a box of satellites special dredging under stripper captures is provided.

Dvukhzakhvatnym stripper …

… we remove an internal ring of the bearing.

Similarly we remove the second bearing.
In the absence of a stripper we insert a chisel between an end face of an internal ring of the bearing and a box of satellites.

Striking blows to a chisel, we shift an internal ring of the bearing.

Into the formed gap it is inserted two big screw-drivers (or assembly shovels) and we press …

… an internal ring of the bearing with a separator and rollers.

With center punch it is marked the mutual provision of parts of a box and axes of satellites.

Cap key «on 13» we turn on eight bolts, connecting parts of a box of satellites.

Carefully tapping with a hammer on a drift from soft metal, …

… we separate a box.

We take out from the removed half of a box a semi-axial gear wheel …

… and its basic washer.

We take out axes together with satellites and their washers.

We remove from axes satellites and washers.

If satellites and their axes are supposed to be used repeatedly, we mark a relative positioning of details.

We remove the second semi-axial gear wheel …

… and its basic washer.

We take out a leading gear wheel from a reducer case (it can be beaten out in hammer blows through a pro-rate from soft metal on a shaft end face) and an internal ring of the forward bearing.

We remove a rasporny ring.

We press from a gear wheel shaft an internal ring of the back bearing.

We remove an adjusting ring of a leading gear wheel.

By drift it is beaten out an external ring of the external bearing...

… also we take out it.

Similarly we beat out an external ring of the internal bearing.
