Oil replacement in a reducer

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Oil in a reducer we replace through 20–30 thousand km of run.

Six-sided key «on 12» we turn on a stopper of a drain opening …

… also we merge oil in capacity in volume not less than 3 l.

If the fulfilled oil dark цвета* or in it metal particles are appreciable, we wash out a reducer. For this purpose we establish a stopper of a drain opening into place, having cleared its magnet of shaving. Then …

With syringe it is filled in in a case of the back bridge about 2 l of a mix of transmission or engine oil (70–80 %) with kerosene or diesel fuel and we establish into place a stopper of a jellied opening.

Having substituted under forward wheels an emphasis, we hang out the back bridge. Having started up the engine, we include the first transfer. Through 2–3 mines completely we merge a flushing mix (duration plum not less than 5 mines). Having cleared once again a stopper of a drain opening, we wrap it into place. Having turned out a stopper of a jellied opening, a syringe we fill a case with fresh transmission oil to level of a jellied opening that corresponds to volume of 3,0 l.
Bearings of back wheels are oiled from a reducer. For filling of naves by oil it is lifted by a jack serially right and left wheels on 30 cm and we maintain in such situation for 6–10 minutes. After that we check level and we add oil in a reducer case.

* Oil can have dark color not only as a result of reducer wear process, but also is primary, for example, at the maintenance of a disulfide of molybdenum in it or graphite.
