Transmission dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

It is more convenient to work together.

We remove a transmission (see. Transmission removal).
We clear a box of dirt outside and we wash out her internal cavity diesel fuel or kerosene, their gulf in volume of 1 l.

We remove the coupling with the bearing and porolonovy rings from a forward cover.

We remove a support of the power unit (see. Replacement of support of the power unit).
We remove the switch of light of a backing (see. Replacement of the switch of light of a backing).
We remove a speedometer drive (see. Replacement of a drive of a speedometer).

Key «on 12» we turn on three bolts of fastening of a cover of the bearing (bolts are established on hermetic).

We uncover with laying.

At installation of a cover pay attention to coincidence of the oil drainage channel in a cover and openings in a case.

Having hooked a screw-driver, we take out from a cover a cuff of primary shaft (when dismantling a transmission it is replaced all cuffs irrespective of their condition).

By means of an opravka or a head suitable on diameter it is pressed a new cuff.

Key «on 13» we turn on and we take out a bolt of fastening of the plug of an axis of an intermediate gear wheel of a backing to a forward case.

By thin screw-driver it is hooked and we remove a lock ring of the bearing of primary shaft.

Key «on 12» we turn on and we remove сапун.

Cap key or head «on 12» we turn on ten bolts, connecting forward and back cases (two bolts passing through adjusting plugs, are longer than the others).

Carefully tapping with a hammer through a brass opravka, rasstykovyvay forward and back cases.

Thus it is impossible to strike blows to an end face of primary shaft as synchronizers will be damaged.

We separate transmission cases.

Carefully, trying not to damage, we remove sealing laying.

We take out from boring under the bearing of an intermediate shaft in a forward case adjusting washers. Them can and not to be. In this case the axial gap in bearings is established only by thickness of mezhkarterny sealing laying.

Turning primary shaft, we include backing transfer (we shift forward a rod of the V transfer and a backing).

Key «on 10» we turn on bolts of fastening of three forks of gear shifting.

Key «on 12» we turn on four bolts of fastening of the case of the lever of gear shifting.

We remove the lever case with laying.

Key «on 12» we turn on bolts of fastening of a plate of clamps of rods.

We remove a plate with laying.

We take out three springs and three balls of clamps of inclusion of transfers (they can be taken out the magnetized screw-driver or having overturned a box).

We take out a rod of inclusion of the I-II transfers (not to mix at assembly, at once we put on a rod a fork and we fix its bolt).

We take out a rod of inclusion of the V transfer and backing transfer, having put on it the corresponding fork.

We take out a rod of inclusion of the III-IV transfers. From a rod we take a lock finger.

That plunzher of a blokirator did not drop out, we insert into openings of rods the tubules curtailed from dense paper.

Key «on 13» we turn on a bolt of fastening of an axis of a gear wheel of a backing to a back case.

Nippers we move apart short moustaches of a lock ring of the back bearing of a secondary shaft and, tapping with a copper hammer on a back end face of a secondary shaft, …

… we take out a set of shaft together with an axis and an intermediate gear wheel of a backing.

We separate primary and secondary shaft.

We remove blocking ring of the synchronizer IV of transfer and we take out 14 rollers of a forward support of a secondary shaft.

Gear wheels, synchronizers and other details located on primary and secondary shaft, are similar at each other. That them not to mix and for simplification of the subsequent assembly, it is necessary to display accurately details as removal.

By two thin screw-drivers or special nippers it is unclenched and we remove from primary shaft the lock …

… and spring rings.

To small beards (two assembly shovels or a special stripper) we press the bearing of primary shaft.

Similarly we remove both bearings of an intermediate shaft.

Having established a secondary shaft vertically in a vice through soft laying...

... we remove the lock …

… and spring rings of a nave of the coupling of inclusion of the III-IV transfers.

We remove the coupling assembled with crackers and synchronizer springs.

This set is better be not to assorting, but if such need arose, mark the mutual provision of details.

Couplings of inclusion of transfers are asymmetrical, therefore they are established only in one situation.

We remove blocking ring of the synchronizer …

… and a gear wheel of the III transfer together with a plastic separator and rollers.

By screw-driver it is hooked and we remove a lock ring …

… and two persistent half rings.

The magnetized screw-driver took out a lock ball of half rings.

We remove a gear wheel of the II transfer with the bearing.

We remove blocking ring of the synchronizer II of transfer.

We remove a lock ring.

We remove the coupling of inclusion of the I-II transfers …

… and ring of the synchronizer I of transfer.

We remove a gear wheel of the I transfer with the bearing.

Further dismantling of a secondary shaft it is carried out since other end.

Having hooked a thin screw-driver, we remove the lock …

… and spring rings.

We remove a leading gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer …

… also we take out its lock ball.

Two assembly shovels or special stripper removed the back bearing of a secondary shaft.

We remove a persistent washer.

We take out flat-nose pliers a pin.

We remove a gear wheel of the V transfer with the bearing …

… and a blocking ring of the synchronizer.

We remove a remote ring.

Having unclenched special nippers and having at the same time hooked a screw-driver, we remove a spring ring …

… and coupling of inclusion of the V transfer and backing.

We remove blocking ring of the synchronizer.

We remove a gear wheel of transfer of a backing with the bearing.

We take from the extension piece of a back case two cuffs (see. Replacement of cuffs).
Before assembly we check a condition of details of a transmission.

On details of cases cracks of any form and are not allowed length. Nests of bearings, openings under rods of gear shifting and the stalebabbitovy plug of the extension piece of a back case should be smooth, without забоин, traces задиров and appreciable wear. Bearings should enter into nests densely, from effort of a hand or at an easy postukivaniye through a pro-rate. Laying should be whole, without gaps, stratifications and breaks.
Shaft, axes and rods it is checked on lack of the cracks, appreciable wear tracks, задиров and a metal navolakivaniye. It belongs and to shlitsevy parts of shaft, reciprocal details should move on shaft easily, without notable люфтов and jammings. Insignificant traces задиров, and also possible corrosion (on shlitsa) we eliminate with a velvet file or very small skin, and necks of shaft we polish with the GOI thin paste or diamond paste.
On teeths of gear wheels and couplings of synchronizers chips, jamming and vykrashivaniye traces are inadmissible, on cones of blocking rings of synchronizers also there should not be traces of jamming, strong wear and a bronze navolakivaniye on steel.
Ball and roller bearings should be in an irreproachable condition. Their rotation should be a lung, without jammings, clicks, люфта and vibrations. On kacheniye paths, balls and rollers (needles) the fatigue vykrashivaniye (petting), appreciable wear and chips are not allowed. Separators of ball-bearings should not concern rings, have cracks and gaps. After run all ball bearings it is better to replace about 100 thousand km on new, irrespective of their condition. Cuffs of a sliding fork of the driveshaft and a cuff of primary shaft also we replace irrespective of their condition.
Before assembly it is washed carefully out all details in kerosene or diesel fuel, carving openings of a case it is fat-free by acetone or solvent for nitropaints. On rubbing surfaces of the mechanism of gear shifting, the stalebabbitovy plug, cuffs and shlitsa of a secondary shaft we put CV JOINT-4 greasing, other surfaces it is greased with transmission oil.
And their nests before assembly it is necessary to grease bearings with transmission oil also.
We collect a transmission in return sequence. For ensuring assembly of besseparatorny bearings we put on their rollers any plastic greasing.
At assembly all shaft it is established in a back case of a transmission at the same time. For simplification of this operation shaft can be connected a cord.

The thickness of laying between cases of a transmission defines size of an axial gap in bearings of an intermediate shaft. Therefore we establish it surely, having greased for reliability with a thin layer of hermetic. It is necessary to put hermetic and on all other cardboard laying of a transmission.

The bolts connecting cases, before assembly it is necessary to degrease, and then to put on their carving hermetic. After unit installation on the car do not forget to fill in in a box of 1,2 l of transmission oil (to level of a jellied opening).
