Design description

On the Sable car the mechanical, five-step, trekhvalny transmission with the fifth raising transfer is established.

The transmission on the majority of details is unified with a box established on the car.

GAZ-3110 "Volga". Differences of a transmission of the Sable car consist in the increased transfer numbers on all transfers, except the fourth, and also in higher case of the lever of switching and the extended bottom end of the lever. Forward and back cases of a transmission are cast from an aluminum alloy and connected through laying by ten bolts in the plane, perpendicular to axes of shaft. For ensuring coaxiality of nests of bearings and openings under rods of the mechanism of switching cases are centered with each other via adjusting plugs. In boring of cases on radial ball bearings primary, secondary and intermediate shaft with kosozuby gear wheels of continuous gearing are established. Gear wheels of a secondary shaft are established on roller (needle) bearings with plastic separators. Gear wheels of the second, third, fifth transfers and a drive of an intermediate shaft напрессованы on an intermediate shaft also form the block of gear wheels. The mechanism of gear shifting consists of rods with forks and heads in which grooves the bottom end of the lever of switching is placed. The lever of switching is supplied with the dempferny device preventing its vibration (resonance) at high frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft.

Back shlitsevy the end of a secondary shaft enters into gearing with a sliding fork of kardanny transfer. The shaft of a fork enters into the stalebabbitovy plug of the extension piece of a back case of a transmission and, moving in this plug and on shlitsa of a secondary shaft, compensates axial moving of kardanny transfer at work of a back suspension bracket.

On secondary the screw leading gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer is established to a shaft.

Greasing of a transmission is carried out by the transmission oil which is filled in in a case in volume of 1,2 l.

For filling and plum of oil aspics and drain the openings supplied with jams with a conic being self-condensed carving serve. The stopper of a drain opening has a magnet for catching of small metal particles. The transmission has two jellied openings, located on lateral walls of a forward case from both parties. It is made for unification when using transmission on various cars.
